Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a candidate with mechanical aptitude to join our electrical assembly team. The ideal candidate will pay close attention to detail and be flexible to work in various areas. This role requires teamwork and a strong focus on safety. You will be responsible for installing automated parts for use in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Work on electrical assembly team with attention to detail.

• Install automated parts for use in manufacturing.

• Flex to work in different areas as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with team members.

• Maintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Experience with hand tools and power tools

• Mechanical assembly skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry

• Ability to read blueprints

• Must bring own tools including metric and standard wrenches, sockets, ballpin hammer, deadblow hammer, flathead screwdriver, and Phillips screwdriver

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled. The shift is currently 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00
