Aerotek is hiring Manufacturing Assemblers in Burnaby!

Job Description:

FOR ASSEMBLY/PRODUCTION LINE:

• Work with a team to complete production orders

• Train on 13 stations over 2-3 months

• Assemble units using small hand tools with written English instructions

• Work both alongside team members and independently

• Maintain pace in a fast-paced, continuous production line

FOR THE CLEAN ROOM

• Work in the cleanroom for the first full week if needed and a handful of times monthly on a rotating schedule

• Stand all shift long while labeling products, sealing packaging pouches, and performing other tasks

• Heavy jacket provided

TOP SKILLS NEEDED

• 1 year recent experience in a similar environment doing similar tasks (assembly/production of similar product)

• 1 year minimum recent experience in a fast-paced production role

• Comfortable working a 1-year contract

• Experience using small basic hand tools (crimpers, screwdrivers, tweezers)

• Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly

• Ability to stand all shift long

• Ability to lift 30lbs (not repetitively)

• Basic computer skills (must be tested during screening)

• Good English communication both verbal and reading (tested in lockdown)
