Summary:
We're seeking a visionary Art Director to join our forward-thinking Metaverse Content team. As a creative problem-solver on a small, high-impact internal team, you'll elevate existing content and propose groundbreaking experiences that engage a broader audience with the Metaverse on a daily basis.With a demonstrated understanding of audience needs, you'll collaborate with the Creative Director to develop clear, executable concepts that align our highly collaborative and cross-functional organization around a shared vision. Your work will be instrumental in driving impact on users and business ~~~ a key member of this team, you'll "show, not tell" using storytelling to inspire excellence in our development partners and create deeply satisfying experiences for our users. Required Skills:
Art Director- Metaverse Lifestyle and Entertainment Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and Develop Artistic Vision: Lead collaborative development of conceptual artwork, style guides, and project pitches to convey artistic vision. Work closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize innovative ideas across the content portfolio.
Drive Art Direction and UX: Drive art direction for end-user experiences, ensuring consistency of vision, clear UX, and effective UI. Translate our overall content strategy into creative concepts for stakeholder feedback and buy-in.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and autonomously lead projects. Communicate art direction goals to executives, internal teams, and external partners. Present ideas quickly and clearly to build team consensus and momentum.
Develop Project Plans and Materials: Develop compelling project pitches and production plans with management. Create style guides, documentation, and materials as needed for internal and external teams.
Ensure Visual Quality and Technical Excellence: Work with technical partners to proactively address issues or requirements to ensure the highest visual quality possible. Align stakeholders on AR/VR experience quality and content delivery expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
15+ years of artistic leadership in interactive entertainment
10+ years of experience leading teams and collaborating with executive leadership
8+ years of experience in product storytelling and creative strategy for emerging technologies or entertainment platforms such as AR, VR. MR, gaming, Web3, AI, NFT, Avatars
5+ years working with global brands and launching large-scale entertainment products
Experience delivering visuals and UX solutions for new technologies, entertainment platforms, and/or interactive/social experiences, that are both inspirational and easily understood by the core audience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator) and development platforms such as Unity.
Communication and collaboration experience, with a demonstrated experience executing complex projects effectively with cross-functional teams and/or external partners.
Problem-solving skills and experience thinking creatively, with a for innovation and experimentation.
Background and interest in the state of the interactive entertainment industry, including trends, technologies, and best practices.
Management of complex projects from concept to delivery, with demonstrated experience in prioritization of tasks, timelines, and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
AR/VR/MR experience
Experience working with UXR teams to gather actionable qualitative and quantitative data on concepts, and creating action plans to address the feedback
Public Compensation:
$175,000/year to $236,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
