Your Opportunity

As part of our Environmental Services team, the Archaeology group has an opportunity for seasonal Field Labourers /Technicians in our Hamilton ON office.

You will be a part of our archaeological field team that will complete field work. As a seasonal employee your start date and end dates will vary by season.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Under the direction of licensed archaeologists, the successful applicant(s) will assume responsibility for carrying out Stage 2-4 archaeological field work.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Must have past work experience with physically demanding outdoor labour.

• Applicants must be able to travel within Ontario and able to work out-of-town and overnight for short and long durations.

• The ability to carry out strenuous field work is essential.

• A full G driver's license in good standing is preferred, and licensed drivers may be required to drive company vehicles as part of their work.

Education and Experience

• Current undergraduate or graduate students in anthropology or archaeology are encouraged to apply, but not a requirement.

• Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
