    Job Overview

    TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

    As a Tool and Die Apprentice in our AMPD Department, you will:

    • Participate in a four-year, 8,000-hour state approved apprenticeship program that consists of on the job training, as well as related studies

    • Apply learned knowledge of die design and die construction to machining, layout and assembly

    • Be responsible for die assembly, die disassembly, preventive maintenance, die change overs, die troubleshooting and tool making as it relates to tooling and dies

    What your background should look like:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required; Associates Degree in a Machining Discipline, preferred

    • Must be self-motivated and hardworking

    • Must work well with others and be able to communicate effectively

    • Print reading, machine shop skills and demonstration of mechanical aptitude are a plus

    COMPENSATION

    • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $16-20/hr. (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

    • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
