Application Support Analyst

Job Description

The Financial Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive support for financial applications used within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, maintaining system performance, and ensuring seamless operation of financial software. The analyst will work closely with IT and finance teams to enhance system functionality and user experience, while also performing financial analysis as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Administer Sage X3 technology, including user management and function authorization.

Oversee and manage workflows within Sage X3.

Handle expense management and billing processes.

Perform GL transactions and ensure accuracy.

Support year-end financial flows and processes.

Collaborate with implementation partners as needed.

Serve as the first line of defense for application support, escalating major issues to implementation teams.

3-5 years of overall experience in business applications.

Proficiency in Sage X3 administration.

Experience with expense management and billing.

Strong understanding of GL transactions.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Flexible and quick learner with the ability to adapt to new business applications. 5+ years of experience with Sage X3.

Strong financial background and analytical skills. null
