Application Configuration Specialist

Description

We are offering an exciting employee opportunity for an Application Configuration Specialist While this role is fully remote, the candidate MUST live in North Carolina. The Configuration Specialist will be a subject matter expert of our core business functions, processes, workflows, and application configurations. You will be actively involved in workflow design, data collection, configuration, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the client/business and the vendor, ensuring effective communication.

• Execute SQL queries, T-SQL, and access data via XML to streamline business processes.

• Responsible for configuring our Healthcare Management Platform and other integrated platforms for various departments and functions.

• Configure platform to manage care, authorizations, handle disputes, and oversee the nurse, member, and provider portals.

• Configure platform to handle claim administration and ensure seamless operation of business functions.

• Investigate data problems, understand the reason behind the issue, and troubleshoot data issues effectively.

• Modify reports and perform testing to ensure the accuracy of data.

• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents to document business processes and functions.

Requirements

Must have

• Application Configuration experience or have built highly configurable applications.

• T-SQL, query data, troubleshoot stored procedures, XML

• Strong communication skills. Will liaise between client/business and the vendor

• Ability to modify reports.

• Experience troubleshooting data issues. Ability to investigate data problems, find the issue and understand why the problem is occurring.

Nice to have

• Healthcare management or Health insurance experience.
