AP Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist oversees the day-to-day operations of the account payable operations as well as maintaining accounts payable records. The Accounts Payable Specialist also assists with other financial matters as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of accounts payable experience.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

• Reviews assigned invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to entry based on departmental SOP.
• Processing of all bank drafted invoices prior to being drafted from bank accounts.
• Enter all assigned invoices and post all assigned payments based on departmental SOP.
• Enter new vendors accurately based on departmental SOP as assigned.
• Prepare manual checks as needed and prepare for mailing or distribution.
• Assists with all internal personnel questions as necessary.
• Assists in monthly closings by reviewing assigned month-end statements.
