The Search team at Apple is building groundbreaking technology and new user search experiences for products across Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Look Up, and more. We're looking for a senior program manager with a strong track record of building and maintaining intelligent Search experience for more than 1B Apple users.

    Description

    You will coordinate and drive all stages of product development from planning to successful delivery. This includes collaborating with all partner organizations relevant for a project, You will: Communicate: Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team. Coordinate: Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration Plan: Create and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams. Execute: Drive on time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates. Problem solve: Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies. Continuously Improve: Reflect on how the team operates, propose and implement new ways to work in order to improve the rate at which the team delivers value to customers.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 6+ years experience in project or program management, or similar role on a software or QE team

    • Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently

    • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence

    • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations to accomplish

    • Detailed understanding of testing, build and release processes for sophisticated software

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
