    The Siri Customer Experiences team is seeking an engineering manager. We work on understanding the user in the context of the conversation, personalize content, and engaging the user to educate them about what Siri can do. You will lead a small, fast-paced team that is responsible for engaging the user to educate them about how Siri can help them. You will be responsible for building experiences for millions of our users and make Siri a staple in their life. Would you like to make an impact on this scale?     Description

    You will primarily be responsible for leading a team delivering contextual suggestions for Siri to accelerate their tasks and help users get things done more quickly. To succeed in this role, you must be creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. You have a passion for user experience and distributed systems at massive scale, pursuing impossible problems. You enjoy learning new technologies and possess strong skills in object-oriented software design. Experience in ranking and optimization is a plus. Performance analysis and tuning will also be a responsibility of your team's responsibilities, so you will need a deep understanding of systems engineering and performance implications for on-device software. You are passionate about working closely with the design team to develop new user experiences, maintaining existing code, and creating new platform features & technologies. You're also be coaching team members and leading aspects of project management, partnering with the larger organization.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience leading a team in iOS or macOS development

    • Excellent interpersonal skills in a collaborative team environment

    • Experience working in large codebases and distributed process architectures

    • Passionate about creating great customer experiences

    Key Qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2+ years leading a software engineering team delivering customer facing user experiences

    • Experience with machine learning and data science

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $286,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
