The Job:

As an AI Engineer with TeamRoehl, you make a difference by designing, developing and implementing innovative AI solutions that provide deep value to our Roehl team members and drivers. You are responsible for developing and optimizing critical architecture, AI modeling processes and data retrieval methodologies to create and deliver high value Roehl AI solutions. This technical leader will be on the front line of striving for creating a high value AI program.

As an AI Engineer at Roehl, you will

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand AI needs, driving significant business benefits through the integration of AI capabilities and data analytics.

Research and develop innovative statistical models and AI solutions to solve complex problems across various business domains.

Communicate findings and solutions clearly to all stakeholders, maintaining high ethical standards in data usage and AI applications.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, AI, and related technologies to enable efficient business processes and more effective problem-solving strategies.

Lead the development and deployment of advanced data products and AI solutions.

Prototype AI models to address client needs, ensuring the integration of AI solutions into business processes for optimized performance.

Utilize advanced algorithms, large language models, AI Co-pilots, packaged AI solutions, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to analyze data for trends, patterns, and predictive insights; continually improve models through analysis.

Implement AI models in production environments, collaborating with software developers, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and scalability.

Create secure solutions that protect sensitive data and follow security best practices.

The Experience

This is a senior-level opportunity. This generally means that you have:

• Multiple years in software development, data science and engineering delivering analytical solutions

• Understanding of statistical techniques and experience with various programming languages (Python, R, Java) for data science and machine learning.

• Understanding of AI technologies; excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in designing prompts for complex queries

• Experience working with large language models highly preferred.

• Experience working with vision-language models preferred.

• Experience with Azure machine learning platforms a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft 360 and Microsoft Fabric a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft co-pilots a plus.

• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional data models and metadata practices

• Understanding of basic data governance practices

• Understanding of Agile development practices

• Understanding of secure data handling practices

• Expert level SQL Skills

• Cloud Experience is required, Azure preferred

• Experience with modern visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus

• Experience with Angular or similar web development platforms is a plus

• Experience with Cloud Data Lake implementations is a plus

• Experience with Azure data pipelines is a plus

• Experience with Snowflake is a plus
