  • Description We are offering a role within the service industry located in TROY, New York, 12180-5839, United States. The job function is that of an Administrative Assistant and involves duties such as answering phones, filing, receiving shipments/packages, and data entry into Quickbooks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Efficiently manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments

    • Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of documents

    • Receive, inspect and distribute incoming shipments and packages promptly

    • Accurately enter data into Quickbooks, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct

    • Provide administrative support to various teams as required

    • Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary

    • Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by management

    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications

    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office by performing a variety of administrative tasks. Requirements - Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role

    • Proficiency in administrative office procedures and protocols is required

    • Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently and effectively

    • Proficiency in data entry with a high degree of accuracy and speed

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications in related fields preferred

    • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
