Position Summary
The administrative assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, including booking travel arrangements, preparing technician paperwork, and cross-training on key functions within our support center.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and book travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Prepare paperwork and documentation for technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems, including electronic records.
- Manage schedules and appointments for staff, coordinating meetings and events.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Provide general administrative support to visitors and employees.
- Cross-train on key functions within the support center to provide backup support as needed.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, providing excellent customer service. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time in an office setting.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5pm based out of the Harrisburg PA office.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task while staying focused, able to work independently.
- Self-motivated, dependable team player with positive attitude.
- Must type greater than 35+ WPM.
