  • Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the non-profit sector, based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from data entry to customer service, and requires proficiency in a variety of Microsoft Office applications. You will be a key player in our team, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and professionally

    • Provide exceptional customer service, dealing with all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

    • Perform a range of data entry tasks, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date

    • Maintain regular email correspondence with clients and team members, ensuring all communication is clear and professional

    • Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word to complete a range of administrative tasks

    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars, ensuring all meetings and events are accurately recorded

    • Greet and direct visitors, providing a welcoming and professional first impression

    • Perform a variety of office tasks, including word processing, filing and faxing

    • Support other team members by assisting with various projects as required

    • Monitor and handle telephone calls, ensuring all messages are passed on promptly and accurately. Requirements - Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant in a non-profit organization

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

    • Exceptional customer service skills

    • Experience with answering inbound and making outbound calls

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to manage and schedule appointments effectively

    • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail

    • Experience in managing email correspondence professionally

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
