    Job Description

    This role involves handling a variety of tasks including inside sales calls, order entry, invoicing, and some HR and administrative functions. The position is initially short-term (1-2 months) with the potential to become long-term or even permanent, depending on the fit. The successful candidate can start immediately.

    Responsibilities

    • Outbound Sales Calls: Contact customers to understand why they have stopped doing business (1-2-week project).

    • Invoicing and Order Entries: Learn and perform order entry and invoicing tasks.

    • Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative duties, including some HR functions.

    • Customer Interaction: Answer phones and assist customers, primarily in the office.

    Essential Skills

    • Excellent English skills, as the role involves significant phone interaction with customers, including those in the U.S.

    • 1+ year of administrative experience, preferably in office management or a similar role.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

    • Ability to manage data, perform searches, and use the accounting system (training provided).

    • Strong people skills, ability to interact well with both shop staff and management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with sales calls

    • Familiarity with Abacus

    Work Environment

    This is a full-time in-office position located in Langley, BC. The work week consists of 40 hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Flexible start times are available, with core hours from 9am to 3pm. The dress code is business professional. If the role becomes permanent, benefits include RRSP matching after one year and opportunities for advancement within the company.
