  • A PT3 contributes independently to an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery across the continuum of care. A therapist at this level demonstrates effective leadership and functions consistently and autonomously in this role. A PT3 solves problems and achieves results quickly by virtue of their broad knowledge of institutional resources. A PT3 is an experienced clinician who is recognized for knowledge and skills by their peers. A PT3 completes administrative and clinical projects as assigned by supervisory staff. The PT3 helps negotiate the health care system to maximize the delivery of quality care and to minimize cost of patient care service.

    • Performs physical therapy examinations according to professional standards and departmental policy.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of intervention options and executes a program of skilled physical therapy intervention.

    • Actively participates in professional growth of self and others.

    • Actively participates in quality improvement and program development.

    • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

    Position Compensation Range: $77,937.60 - $124,696.00 Annual

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

    Experience: 3 years relevant experience

    Licensure: Licensed to practice in Physical Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
