Our client, a leader in global IT services, is seeking an Acquisitions Project Manager to join their team. As a Acquisitions Project Manager, you will be part of the Procurement team supporting the Acquisitions group. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking abilities, excellent collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Acquisitions Project Manager
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $40/hr
What's the Job?
Project manage the procurement integration of spend and suppliers utilized by acquired companies into processes and tools.
Understand business objectives to generate project information, action items, schedules, and deliverables for the team.
Monitor project progress regularly and report project status to procurement management.
Assist newly acquired employees in procurement-related activities as needed.
Conduct regular follow-ups with respective stakeholders to drive integration completion and address any concerns or roadblocks.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Accounts Payable, or Finance.
3+ years of experience working with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, or SaaS systems like Ariba, Ketera, Coupa, Netsuite, or Basware.
Procurement knowledge, including procure-to-pay expertise and familiarity with procurement ERP systems.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, with the ability to work with large data sets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
