When you join our team as a Accounts Receivable Supervisor , you will oversee the day-to-day functioning of the

accounts receivables team and support the credit collections team.

What You'll Do

• Lead, support, plan, coordinate and review the work of the AR team, ensuring timely and accurate cash application.

• Lead the training of new hires on the full scope of their role and provide continued coaching to the team.

• Manage month end reconciliations of general ledger and AR subledgers in a complex multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

• Conduct account analysis on invoices, deductions and payment history to find root causes on complex cash applications.

• Work with customers to investigate and resolve account discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of outstanding balances.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries.

• Support the Credit Team as necessary in resolving customer account related issues, and providing backfill support.

• Provide support for internal and external audits.

• Drive continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the AR process and procedures.

• Other ad hoc projects.

What You Offer

• 2-3 years' experience in an accounting supervisory role.

• 2-year accounting associate degree or higher preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel skills.

• Knowledge and experience with the North American and Export lumber markets considered a strong asset.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud, Lumbertrack and Tableau software would be an asset.

• Positive and proactive attitude with a drive to succeed and deliver results.

• Extreme attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking.

• Effective organization, planning, implementation, andfollow throughskills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to assist in meeting departmental deadlines.

• Knowledge and application of internal controls.
