Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with TRACK experience in Houston, Texas. The role is within the Service industry and will require the use of Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and other related skills. The workplace will be dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a detail-oriented individual to manage customer accounts and resolve inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mid-month and end-month billing activities with various departments and project managers.

• Generate timely billings and follow-up with customers to ensure receipt and acceptance.

• Maintain accurate billing documentation/support for audit purposes and respond to inquiries from project managers and/or customers in a timely manner.

• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.

• Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles.

• Perform reconciliations as required and assist other divisions with any issues regarding billing application and process.

• Enter job budgets into the accounting system and handle order entry/change order functions.

• Collect the required supporting documents for Time & Material and Fixed Price project billing each billing cycle.

Requirements

• MUST have TRACK experience

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Cash Activity procedures

• Experience in Check Processing
