    Aston Carter's large client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team on a contract, with possibility to extend.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Perform accurate and timely completion of Accounts Receivable transactions

    Process client payments, apply receipts, issue client statements, process payment plans, reconcile statements, and assist in the collection of outstanding receivables

    Respond to queries from our internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner

    Support the Accounting team and various internal clients as needed

    Dealing with high volume emails (10-20 emails daily depending on how active the branches are)

    Adjusting payment set ups, writing off balances, postings.

    Provide daily support to branches.

    The volume is roughly 300-400 payments daily

    NICE TO HAVE

    Experience within high volume customer service environment

    Experience within insurance or financial services

    Extravert - someone who has a go-getter attitude.

    SOFT SKILLS

    Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

    Proactive communicator - will engage leadership for help when needed.

    Strong communication - someone who has good customer service, as they will have a lot of communication with branches.
