  • Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounts Receivable Clerk, based in Aurora, Colorado. This role is crucial for our operations and resides within the finance industry. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving inquiries.

    Responsibilities

    • Thoroughly review contracts for approval, including billing instructions and special conditions

    • Create and manage schedule of values for AIA billing

    • Collaborate with project managers to review active projects for billings

    • Prepare and submit approved monthly pay applications (AIA Billing) to customers

    • Follow up on outstanding change orders with project managers to ensure timely completion and billing

    • Provide necessary documentation such as bill of sale, insurance certification, material photos, and lien releases

    • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and billing issues

    • Make collection calls on past due accounts and communicate with relevant departments to resolve customer issues resulting in payment of past due amounts.

    • Skillfully reconcile accounts and manage cash collections

    • Prepare required monthly reports. Requirements - Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or a similar financial position

    • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for the role

    • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is a key requirement

    • Experience with Cash Applications is highly desirable

    • Possessing skills in Cash Collections is a significant advantage

    • The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is expected

    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information is required

    • An ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines is essential

    • The candidate should demonstrate problem-solving skills and initiative in improving current processes

    • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
