    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Associate in Stamford, Connecticut. The Accounts Payable Associate role is within a dynamic team where you will have the chance to advance and grow your career. Responsibilities for this role include processing checks and expense reports, and supporting the AP/Finance Department by completing various administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities

    • Process payments made via ACH, Wire or Check

    • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

    • Provide clear, concise, and courteous engagement with suppliers to obtain supplier statements and resolve all queries or disputes.

    • Resolve problems and discrepancies, respond to vendor inquiries, research invoice copies, check billing documentation, and manage other financial processes as needed.

    • Review and address accounts payable aging report for all aged invoices.

    • Assist with internal and external audits as required

    • Provide clear, concise, and courteous engagement with suppliers to obtain supplier statements and resolve all queries or disputes.

    • Operate full-cycle Accounts Payable procedures.

    • Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

    • Process payments made in foreign currencies

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) processes

    • Demonstrated capability in check runs and coding invoices

    • Proficient in data entry tasks

    • Proven experience in invoice processing

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Experience in wire transfer processes

    • Familiarity with credit card payments process

    • Ability to prepare checks effectively

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
