We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well established construction company in West Dallas. In this position, will play a critical role in managing the company's payables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience being the sole accounts payable person and be proficient in handling high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Receives and verifies expense reports.

• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.

• Managing accounts payable using Sage/Timberline accounting software and other programs.

• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.

• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.

• Processing due invoices for payments.

• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
