    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.     Key Responsibilities

    • Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

    • Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors.

    • Maintain vendor records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

    • Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

    • Monitor accounts payable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

    • Support the implementation of process improvements and best practices in accounts payable.

    • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

    • Assist with audits as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
