Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Robert Half is in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team based in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be vital in handling customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and responding to customer queries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables

• Handle vendor correspondence through phone or email

• Conduct weekly check runs to prevent unintentional overpayment

• Input invoices for multiple corporate locations across the US, each with different rules

• Provide necessary clerical support to process the organization's obligations

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a related role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation procedures

• Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Capability to perform Check Runs effectively

• Skilled in Coding Invoices for various business needs

• Strong Data Entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing, ensuring all procedures are followed
