Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6 month contract assignment for our client in NE Portland, Oregon. This opportunity will assist the team accounts payable, processing a high volume of invoices and assisting with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer credit applications efficiently and accurately

• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer credit

• Addressing customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action as required

• Ensuring accurate execution of account reconciliation tasks

• Overseeing the accounts payable process, including coding invoices and check runs

• Executing data entry tasks with precision and speed

• Processing invoices efficiently and promptly

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Demonstrable experience with check runs and coding invoices

• Advanced data entry skills

• Experience in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with ERP systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
