Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable / Data Entry Clerk for our team in Lowell, Massachusetts. This role involves data entry and administrative duties focused on maintaining and processing invoices within the accounts payable sector.

Responsibilities

• Accurately inputting invoice data into the designated database

• Handling daily data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing documents and mailing checks

• Managing a regular inflow of approximately 75 invoices on a weekly basis

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes

• Ensuring the accuracy of all entered data

• Proactively monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required

• Maintaining a high level of organization to ensure detailed and accurate records are kept

• Providing assistance on ad-hoc projects as needed

• Utilizing Sage 100 for various accounts payable tasks.

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Proven experience in Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills with high accuracy

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Demonstrated ability in Invoice Entry

• Previous experience in Administrative Assistance

• Familiarity with Sage 100 accounting software
