Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Ankeny, Iowa, specifically in the construction industry. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will manage and process various vendor invoices, maintain accurate records, and provide solutions to any related inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring vendor accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process vendor invoices that primarily come via email

• Regularly monitor vendor accounts and take appropriate actions as needed

• Utilize skills in Construction Accounting and Construction Cost to effectively manage accounts payable

• Address and reconcile any discrepancies in vendor statements

• Handle multiple vendors and maintain efficient communication with them.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Ability to efficiently manage Payable Invoices is necessary.

• Must be able to handle Multiple Vendors simultaneously.

• Proficiency in processing Vendor Invoices is required.

• Ability to reconcile Vendor Statements accurately and promptly is a key requirement.
