Accounting Manager

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Menlo Park, California. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing and overseeing the distribution of various financial reports and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll also play a crucial role in coordinating with different teams, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data and adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Overseeing the preparation and distribution of numerous financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Collaborating effectively with auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.

• Coordinating with other teams to gather financial data for reports when required.

• Analyzing financial data meticulously to identify trends and preparing comprehensive written and oral reports based on the findings.

• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts with precision.

• Supervising and training financial reporting staff to enhance their performance.

• Regularly maintaining and updating financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Prior experience with ERP Solutions is expected

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is crucial

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is mandatory

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a prerequisite

• Skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) are needed

• Auditing experience is vital

• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required
