Accounting Coordinator

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting/Finance Coordinator for one of our top non-profit healthcare improvement clients. Our client provides millions of people with, in health care methods, tools and resources to make care better, safer, and more equitable. This role will sit fully remote and be a contract through the end of April 2025. There will be a possibility of extension and even permanent opportunities.

As an Accounting/Finance Coordinator you will mainly be responsible for everything Accounts Payable and for providing support to our clients expense and budget management functions, as well as organization-wide budgeting and analysis efforts. On the Accounts Payable side, we are looking for someone who will ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable functions, including invoice management, payment processing, and reconciliation of financial reports. In addition to that, you will also monitor and maintain compliance with organizational policies by reviewing expenditures for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation. You will also support the accounts payable workflow through overseeing processes like the AP inbox, addressing inquiries, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities will include

• Support financial reporting and analysis by preparing schedules, reports, and reconciliations, contributing to the month-end close process and annual audits.

• Support the development and management of budgets by facilitating the transition from proposal to forecast and generating monthly budget vs. actual reports.

• Ability to identify and correct errors in financial documentation and transactions.

• Contribute to organizational initiatives by participating in improvement projects and completing special assignments, including accounts receivable tasks and other ad hoc needs.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable

• Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and basic formulas) - NetSuite

• Concur null
