Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Clerk in the professional services industry, located in St.Cloud, Minnesota. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The Accounting Clerk will play a critical role in managing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, supporting legal billing processing activities, and delivering daily financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

• Support legal billing processing activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

• Deliver daily financial reporting, providing key insights and updates

• Reconcile accounts as needed to maintain accurate financial records

• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to manage and resolve billing issues

• Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining financial databases

• Process invoices effectively, ensuring all client billing information is accurate

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Prior experience in a similar role within the Professional Services industry

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of relevant accounting software is a plus.
