Accounting Assistant

Description

We are offering a contract for a dedicated Accounting Assistant position in Eugene, Oregon. This role is in the construction industry and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with Accounts Receivable and Billings, including generating estimates for jobs

• Respond to incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries

• Utilize QuickBooks and the billing system for various accounting tasks

• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain numeric records

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, making necessary adjustments

• Assist with Accounts Payable functions as part of cross-training responsibilities.

Requirements - Proven expertise in all Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong ability in Numeric Data Entry

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting

• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise software
