    Education / Training:

    • Skill Level I - 0-2 years of experience or Associates Degree;

    • Skill Level II - 2-5 years of experience or Specific Experience or Bachelor Degree;

    • Skill Level III - 5+ years of experience;

    • Detail oriented / sense of urgency / follow-through;

    • Ability to multi-task, work independently and efficiently;

    • Proven interpersonal and communication skills;

    • Ability to communicate/deal with various vendors as required;

    • Adapt to frequent changes in workload & priority as circumstances dictate.

    Key Job Elements:

    • Process all invoices received within 48 hours of receipt utilizing basic problem-solving skills (purchase order research);

    • Ensure compliance with departmental standards (processing / scanning goals);

    • Follow established Accounting policies & procedures;

    • Gather and report accrual data;

    • Ensure data entry is up to date in order to meet month end deadlines;

    Advanced Skills

    • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned;

    • Support the efforts of Accounting Management to achieve corporate/departmental goals and objectives;

    • Run a variety of reports to analyze data and accruals;

    • Vendor Maintenance;

    • Prepare month-end checklist for the plant. Ensure closing is on time and accurate;

    • Ensure that cutoff for production orders, shipping, billing and goods received is accurate;

    • Ensure that account reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately with detailed supporting schedules;

    • Assist in preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual business plan; provide trended analysis and projections.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Preferred Skills

    • Associate's degree or higher level of education preferred;

    • Advanced Windows Operating Systems experience and/or Linux;

    • Intermediate to advance Level of proficiency in Excel;

    • Knowledge of Microsoft office; Oracle DB, MSSQL, and RDP.

    Essential and Physical Activities Functions

    • Strength - Must be able to lift 40 lbs;

    • Motion - The position is primarily in an office setting requiring sitting at the desk the majority of the day;

    • Vision/Hearing Requirements - May spend long periods of time in front of computer screen;

    • Work Environment- Will spend the majority of time in office environment, although exposed occasionally to plant facilities requiring exposure to hot and cold environments along with noise exposure;

    • Emotional Demands - Must have good communications skills;

    • Safety - Not a safety sensitive position but does requires the use of PPE when in a production environment.
