    We have an exciting role open for an Accountant supporting Global Marketing & Brand. You'll have the unique opportunity to become a trusted partner across an organization of more than 300 Marketing & Brand professionals. This position will collaborate with our customer facing Demonstration & Learning Centers, Equipment Training Solutions, and Marketing Analytics organization to provide timely business support, valuable financial insights, and capital governance as the business unit capital coordinator. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to expand your accountable reporting skillset with a focus on SG&A planning & analysis, further develop your data analytic skills with access to software and training for tools such as Axiom and Power BI, and engage in our overall Cat Digital strategy.

    What You Will Do:

    • As the Capital Coordinator, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to collaborate with three customer-facing Demonstration & Learning Facilities to provide valuable guidance on multi-million dollar capital investments, ultimately, delivering significant impact to the organization.

    • Responsibility for forecasting activities and analysis (FP&A), as well as presentation of results to leadership

    • Financial System support and maintenance as the business unit Axiom lead

    • Support service center and accountable reporting including Form M's, Balance Sheet, Headcount, and Currency

    • Support our GFSO strategy to deploy advanced analytics tools across our teams

    • Maintain proper internal controls for M&B organization

    • Support business needs from global Demonstration & Learning Centers, Equipment Training Solutions, and Marketing Analytics organizations

    What You Will Have:

    • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in - Accounting, Finance or Business

    • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

    • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.

    • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

    • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

    • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

    • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

    • This position will be located in our Peoria, IL office

    Summary Pay Range:

    $87,480.00 - $131,280.00

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
