Accountant

Description

We are in search of an Accountant for a company in Newark, Delaware. In this role, your core function will be to scrutinize, analyze, and interpret accounting records to generate statements and provide guidance to management. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze accounting records with precision.

• Generate comprehensive financial statements based on analyzed data.

• Provide insightful advice to management based on accounting records.

• Execute various accounting functions to maintain financial clarity.

• Engage in quality assurance management to uphold accounting standards.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements - Excellent ability to interpret financial data and provide insights

• Extensive experience in performing different accounting functions such as budgeting, auditing, and financial forecasting

• Strong knowledge of QA Management, ensuring all accounting procedures follow quality standards

• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong focus on precision and accuracy in financial reporting and data collection

• Exceptional analytical skills to understand financial operations and predict future trends

• Excellent time management abilities for meeting strict deadlines

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Detail-oriented certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is desirable

• Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is beneficial.
