Accountant - Entry Level

Description

Our organization is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our client's dynamic financial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start their accounting career in an established organization, offering excellent growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.

• Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.

• Posting journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.

• Maintaining and updating financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Assisting in the processing accounts receivable and payable.

• Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.

• Assisting with budget preparation and analysis.

• Ad hoc reporting and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 0-1 year of relevant accounting experience; internships are considered relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Excel.

• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or similar are an advantage.

• Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Strong organizational, analytical and collaborative skills.

A successful Entry Level Accountant should have a knack for numbers, a fixation on detail, and a high level of integrity.
