Accountant - Entry Level

Entertainment company in Midtown looking for Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Accurately process accounting entries and maintain timely updates.

• Utilize accounting software, including Sage Intacct and Dynamics NAV, to streamline daily operations.

• Perform detailed account analysis to verify data accuracy and completeness.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers with precision and timeliness.

• Leverage tools like Adobe Acrobat and ERP systems for efficient digital record management.

• Generate and issue credit memos as needed.

• Maintain and prepare accurate balance sheets within set deadlines.

• Coordinate month-end closing activities to ensure financial records are current and accurate.

• Manage accounts payable (AP) processes to meet financial commitments on time.

Requirements

• Proficiency in account coding and accounting functions

• Familiarity with various accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and Sage Intacct

• Ability to perform account analysis and account reconciliation with accuracy

• Knowledge of accounting entries and accounts payable (AP) processes

• Experience with ERP solutions is desirable
