Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Haddonfield, New Jersey. This role is within the Accounting industry and will require the successful candidate to analyze insurance company transactions, handle insurance company accounting, and contribute to quarterly corporate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing insurance company transactions to understand and interpret information

• Handling insurance company accounting tasks to ensure financial accuracy

• Contributing to quarterly corporate financial reporting to provide up-to-date financial status

• Utilizing GAAP Accounting principles in day-to-day work

• Using Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data

• Identifying potential problems or planning opportunities through careful analysis of accounting information

• Assisting in the maintenance of accurate financial records

• Collaborating with team members to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Adhering to all company policies and regulations

• Continuously updating knowledge and skills in the accounting field to improve work performance. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Functions and General Accounting

• Familiarity with Finance and GAAP Accounting principles

• Competency in Microsoft Excel

• Entry-level position, no prior experience required

• A degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and systems
