Accountant

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PART TIME Accountant in the non-profit industry, based in Wyoming, Ohio. This position will be about 10 hours per week. The primary function of this role is Payroll and to manage and handle accounts, specifically focusing on accounts payable, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage accounts payable (AP) to ensure all financial information is accurately recorded

• Conduct payroll operations, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting

• Generate and present detailed reports related to accounts and transactions

• Analyze financial data and provide strategies to improve financial performance

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial reports

• Monitor and manage customer credit applications and records

• Take necessary actions for delinquent payments

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements - Holding a role in a non-profit setting and demonstrating an understanding of the sector's unique challenges and rewards.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and payroll.

• Demonstrable experience with QuickBooks software.

• The ability to produce high-quality reports on financial data.

• Proven track record as an Account Manager, preferably within a non-profit organization.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong ethical standards and integrity.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
