Account Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team!

Alera Group is an independent, national insurance and financial services firm created through the merger of like-minded, high-performing, entrepreneurial firms across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a designated book of business, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and vendors.

• Oversee renewals, rate and plan design strategies, negotiations, and delivery of non-insurance solutions (e.g., compliance, tech).

• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities to expand coverage or improve client offerings.

• Develop, interpret, and present benefit benchmarking studies, plan comparisons, and marketing materials.

• Provide expert analysis of client risk strategies and coverage, ensuring adequate protection and recommending enhancements.

• Demonstrate strong leadership in delegating tasks, driving operational efficiency, and fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Ensure data integrity in systems like Applied Epic and manage special projects as needed for client accounts.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent

• 3+ years related experience

• Proficient in the use of Windows Software & MS Office Products

• Experience using an Agency Management System (EPIC or otherwise) or ability to train quickly via on the job and online training
