Account Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Account Engineer to join one of Canadas leading insurance companies. A successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating an insurance clients equipment breakdown and operational risk. This includes conducting equipment breakdown assessments of large complex risks to identify hazards and exposures aiding underwriting partners in making informed decisions on risk selection, rating, and pricing. You will prepare detailed engineering reports, technical articles, and bulletins to support these decisions and recommend risk improvement strategies. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, analytical skills, and effective communication.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in engineering, equipment breakdown, or insurance.

- Provincial Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license or in progress.

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, Electrical, Industrial or related field) or equivalent experience. - Experience in assessing complex risk in power generation, mining, oil, and gas industries

CIP, CRM designations and/or NBBI IS commission are considered assets null
