    The candidate for this position will be a member of the Enterprise Third Party Data (E3PD) Team. The 3PD team oversees and governs data purchased from vendors to control expenses and manage vendor relationships across the Enterprise.

    Third party data management is a visible top priority for The Hartford and essential for business success. The E3PD team works to ensure data is purchased only once and is fully optimized across the Enterprise.

    The candidate will drive positive collaboration between our business segments, functions, and external partners to support the governance of external or 3rd party data (3PD). This centralized role is uniquely positioned to understand enterprise strategies and uncover opportunities, needs and challenges not visible through a single segment lens.

    What are the responsibilities of the position?

    • Enterprise 3PD Program Management to include creation and maintenance of standard operation procedure (SOPs) documentation.

    • Alignment of The Hartford Information Practices (THIP) with SOP documents

    • Partner with Enterprise Data Service (EDS) Governance department to represent unique aspects of 3PD governance to ensure compliance with The Hartford and regulatory policies.

    • Represent 3PD in the Enterprise Data Governance & Privacy Council

    • Enterprise 3PD relationship management of smaller to medium complexity to include but not limited to Geospatial solutions.

    • Identify 3PD needs & development of roadmaps.

    • Execution of highly visible & complex enterprise roadmap items and/or projects

    • Maintain an enterprise perspective & ensure alignment to enterprise strategic direction.

    • Provide thought-leadership and strategic thinking skills by looking at the business holistically and encouraging broad based thinking and analysis.

    • Driving smaller to medium complexity enterprise initiatives and supporting enterprise leadership as needed

    What qualifications are we looking for?

    • A self-motivated, accomplished professional with a minimum of 6 years business experience.

    • Data/technical aptitude preferred with ability to collaborate with technical & business stakeholders.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

    • Ability to organize a team of multiple stakeholders, motivate them to a common goal and communicate effectively on an on-going basis.

    • Excellent written communications skills, developing clear and persuasive analyses and presentations through emails, presentation decks and decision documents.

    • Ability and willingness to handle multiple concurrent projects & working in an ambiguous work environment.

    • Exceptional leadership and relationship skills; strong partnership and collaboration skills

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $107,360 - $161,040
