3D Animator

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a 3D Animator in Atlanta, Georgia. This role centers around creating immersive and complex video designs for a large exhibit, with a focus on motion graphics and video editing. This job function is in the animation industry and can be performed remotely or on-site, depending on the needs of the project.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed 3D models and animations using software such as Unreal Engine 5, Nuke, Maya, and Solid Works.

• Editing and enhancing video footage for immersive exhibits.

• Collaborating with a team to create a cohesive and engaging user experience.

• Utilizing skills in Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Animation to produce high-quality work.

• Creating concept art and character designs to be used in animations.

• Compositing various elements to achieve desired effects.

• Adapting to fluctuating workloads, with work hours potentially ranging from 20-30 hours per week.

• Delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.

• Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in 3D animation and video editing technology.

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the animation process. Requirements - Proficiency in 3D Modeling is required.

• Must be skilled in using 3D Studio Max.

• Familiarity with Adobe Flash is necessary.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop is needed.

• Must have a background in Animation.

• Ability to design and animate Characters.

• Knowledge in Compositing is required.

• Must have experience in creating Concept Art.

• Proficiency in using Unreal Engine is necessary.

• Understanding of UnrealScript is required.

• Experience with Nuke is needed.
