    Job Description

    The Franchise Marketing Team oversees building new above brand functions to assist the PDT BU in performing essential business functions. The teams are divided into access, Professional engagement, and customer engagement. The customer engagement team which I am a part of manages above brand engagement around Media, CRM, and RTE.

    How You Will Contribute:

    This intern will report to the Sr. Manager of Customer Engagement in the Franchise Marketing business Unit. During their tenure they will assist in the creation, implementation and execution of personalized and non omni-channel marketing campaigns for Health care providers and patients.

    • Process Optimization - Collaborating with PDT team members to learn, understand, and outline existing processes

    • Confluence - Document and build out pages within Confluence based on the outlined processes listed above

    • Next Best Action - Enhance how we tag our content in order to drive the correct message to our HCP and patients

    • Dynamic Content - Enhance dynamic content to other channels in a cost effective manner

    • Content Creation - Learn how we create content with our agencies and see how we can optimize and speed up

    • Speaker Program Digital Optimization - Learn how we manage speaker programs and optimize our sales and omnichannel follow-up

    Internship Development Opportunities:

    Beyond the main project deliverable, other key objectives for this internship will be around learning about our PDT brands and exposure to pharma marketing since the intern will most likely be entirely new to the industry.

    Areas the intern will have the opportunity to learn but are not limited to the following

    • Marketing processes across different channels

    • HCP and Consumer journeys and differences in marketing

    • PRT process

    • Role of the Franchise Marketing team as part of PDT and as part of brand marketing strategy

    • Networking across PDT and USBU and beyond based off intern interest (manager to provide list of people intern should reach out to for 1:1s and support in setting up additional conversations as interested)

    Job Requirements:

    • This position is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA

    • Undergraduate student majoring in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent major

    • Demonstrates excellent skills in oral & written communication, organization, team dynamics, and prioritization of tasks.

    • Willingness to suggest out of box ideas for OmniChannel marketing campaigns

    • Demonstrates knowledge in Microsoft Office

    • Email and/or Media knowledge

    • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques

    • We are seeking an intern who will be proactive, innovative and willing to collaborate and provide inputs to the Marketing Excellence team to gain broad experience in various aspects of digital marketing.

    • This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment

    • At the end of the internship, they will be required to give a presentation to the Associate and Sr. Director of Franchise Marketing on what they have learned and their experience

    Internship Eligibility

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

    • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later

    • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)

    • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames

    • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

    • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

    U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

    $21.00 - $46.00

    The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate's school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

    U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
