    Job Summary

    This internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC). Your summer will be focused in Supplier Engineering (Supplier Technical Management) within our Supply Chain organization. Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSC as a whole while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way.

    This position is an onsite role at our Andover, MA location.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate

    • Assist in supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk

    • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis

    • Support the management of supplier requests for product and process changes

    • Support the management of product non-conformances; Drive root cause and corrective action

    • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities

    • Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders

    • Collaborate with other interns in a Capstone Project

    • Obtain and maintain additional program access as required

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore, year by the start of summer 2025. Candidates must be pursuing a major in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the systems and information under this program/contract.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA desired (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

    • Strong knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office tools

    • Teacher-you can take any audience through any channel and captivate them through effective communication and presentation skills

    • Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task using strong analytical skills - comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data

    • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
