    Northrop Grumman is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Associate Engineer Electronics/ Engineer Electronics in Palmdale, CA for the Software Integration & Test team.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Avionics Integration

    Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform integration and test of software/hardware components into a single system on the host environment.

    • Work in development, lab, and operational environments. Integration and testing of a component in complex system in the appropriate environment.

    • Perform integration, test and troubleshooting across multiple networks interfacing with customer SMEs.

    • Ensure that through documentation is created and maintained at the level appropriate on any sell-off event and to allow others to integrate in the future.

    • Facilitate collaboration with software developers, system engineers, hardware engineers, and integration/test engineers to diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software installation, integration, acceptance test, and operational events.

    • Develop and execute installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures.

    • Develop quality technical documentation.

    • Submit detailed problem reports.

    This requisition may be filled at either anAssociate Engineer Electrical (T01) or Engineer Electrical (T02)

    Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Electrical (T01)

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

    • Active in-scope DOD Top Secret Clearance

    • Be able to obtain and maintain as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access required to start. (Of note: SAP/PAR will be upgraded once selected candidate is in role. Therefore, candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain upgraded SAP/PAR.)

    • Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ Certificate for administrators. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    • Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution.

    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

    • Active in-scope DOD Top Secret Clearance

    • Security+ Certificate for administrators

    Pay Range

    • Associate Engineer Electrical: $72,100 to $108,100

    • Engineer Electrical: $87,200 to $130,800
