Working across generations can be a wonderful experience for everyone if the mature workers reach out to their younger co-workers. As mentors, senior professionals can transfer some of their knowledge and experience to millennial workers to make the entire work environment run more smoothly. Many young professionals are happy to have a skilled worker show them the ropes at work.
It is completely possible to cultivate and maintain harmony in the workplace if everyone is committed to treating each other well and working together. By building positive relationships, working across generations becomes easier and advantageous for everyone.
