The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) has announced the formation of the first industry-wide forum exclusively for female hospitality professionals. Known as Women In Lodging (WIL), the organization gives women the opportunity to connect with some of the industry's top hospitality professionals nationwide. WIL was created to promote women's leadership into executive positions within the lodging industry and to foster business development efforts, including women's markets.
Women employed at AH&LA member organizations, regardless of their position within the company, enjoy free membership. In addition to receiving full AH&LA benefits, WIL membership offers a host of exclusive benefits, including:
Who's Who Directory. Automatic inclusion and access to this online director of female lodging executives. A powerful networking tool for women in the industry, as well a resource for students looking for mentors and organizations seeking speakers or panelists.
Mentorship. Mentors help shape and influence the career of female lodging professionals; Mentees gain instant access to a seasoned professional who wants to share their knowledge and secrets to success.
Education & Events. Discounts on educational seminars, panels, Webinars and WIL networking events nationwide.
Exclusive Resources. Early alerts about WIL events and new benefits, plus access to the WIL Members Only Website, packed with tools and information.
