There are plenty of simple, one-use mobile gadgets out there that grab our attention every day but it's rare that one is really revolutionary. Enter the 'Thimble'.
The Thimble - a one-finger glove with Bluetooth technology - looks to improve the lives of the visually impaired. The Thimble takes ambient input from an embedded camera and relays it via a tactile grid to the wearer's finger in Braille. It can also handle RSS feeds, books and a variety of additional text.
For now, the Thimble is just a concept but hopefully sometime soon we'll see this concept become a fantastic reality -- think of the possibilities!
