Learn all you can about your company's industry and the departments you support. You need to understand the business in order to make the technology work.
What would you advise someone looking to find the type of role you currently have?
- Get experience managing small projects first. Then, as you gain experience, look for more challenging assignments.
- Be willing to try new things.
- Network with others who work in areas that interest you.
What is the one career decision you would change if you could?
I would have gotten involved with IT sooner.

Music producer if I had the skills.
